Cherry & Banana Sorbet

With the days getting colder by the minute it’s hard not to crave hearty meals all day, but I do miss the freshness summer meals can bring.

This healthy, palate cleanser sorbet is done in no time, so easy that it’s hardly a recipe.


Note: You can substitute the cherries with strawberriesPeel the bananas before you freeze them.

  • 1 cup frozen pitted cherries (about 30 cherries)
  • 2 medium size frozen bananas
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of water

Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. You might need to scrape the sides once or twice during this process. Serve the sorbet right out of the food processor or spoon it into a container, cover it and keep it in the freezer until you crave it.

This recipe makes 3/4 of a pint or 1 1/2 cups of sorbet.
